Specializing in "New Orleans Style" Pralines

Leah's Candy Kitchen first appeared in the New Orleans City Directory in 1933
under the name Cook's Confections. Mr. Cook sold his business to Leah ( at left ) and Okay Johnson in 1944, and the shop gradually became known as Leah's Pralines.

Today, Leah's niece, Elna, follows the same recipes and standards of excellence as her aunt. People come back year after year because they can still find the wonderful candies they enjoyed as children. The next time you are in New Orleans, come in and enjoy the delicious smell of fresh, homemade pralines, pecan brittle or Creole fudge bubbling in our copper kettle. If you can't get to New Orleans soon , call our toll free number (1-888-523-LEAH) and order some fresh homemade candy today.
